Please join us for our final Community Nights of the semester at the Erwin Middle School cafeteria Monday, December 12th from 5:30-7pm. Every student and family from the Erwin district is welcome and will receive free tutoring assistance and a free catered meal. In addition, you can shop at our monthly food market so make sure to grab a bag or a box of produce on your way out. We look forward to seeing you there.

Woodfin 1st grade students got to check out the BCS Bookmobile as part of their Wit and Wisdom ELA curriculum. Mrs. McDaris shares, " We have been learning how children get books in different countries like Azerbaijan, Canada, England, Taiwan and many more. Also that books can help people become storytellers, authors, and many more things!"

Mrs. Luther’s 1/2 combo class had fun learning about pumpkins. They measured using cubes and rulers. Students learned about the life cycle and that pumpkins float not sink 😮 The one fact that amazed us the most is that the US produces 1.5 BILLION pounds of pumpkins a year.
