Students in our Dual Language classrooms have a special opportunity of learning about the cultures of their Spanish speaking teachers.
On September 15th, Sra. Pacheco's and Sra. Castro's immersion classes came together to celebrate Costa Rica's Independence Day. The students played Costa Rican games, sang and recited a ¡bomba! (a traditional Costa Rican limerick), and exchanged crafts. They had a wonderful time celebrating their teachers' cultures.
