Healthy Child


Growing bodies and growing minds need fuel.  Due to the early lunch times for students in second and third grades, snacks before lunch are discouraged. Kindergarten and first grade students will have snack sometime during the school day. You are asked to either send a nutritious snack from home, for example: fresh fruit; grapes, strawberries, etc. fresh vegetables; carrots, celery, etc. goldfish, pretzels, popcorn, cheese sticks, hard boiled eggs, granola bars, preferably no chips, candy, cakes, etc., or send money for your child to purchase a snack from the cafeteria.  Please do not send any carbonated drinks for snack, as part of your child's lunch or on a field trip.
